I have been writing poems
since I was a little girl and have always taken great pleasure from it.
I started, in my youth, by writing
poems to express my own emotions and feelings but quickly found that other people also liked to have little poems
written for them or about them. This progressed through my teens all the way into adult life and I suddenly found
myself writing poetry for people who I didn't necessarily know, but whose details I had been provided
with. The feedback I got was overwhelming and from there iwantapoem.co.uk was born.
It is a great honour to be asked to write each personalised poem that I create,
and to share in the highs and lows of so many different occasions through life.
Since 2007, I
have been using my poetic talents to help you put smiles on the faces of your nearest and dearest. I write
poems for Weddings, Hen Parties, Funerals, Christenings, Birthdays and a lot more beside.
I write personalised poems for business and corporate use, as well as for personal customers
and I am more than happy to take bespoke commissions on any topic.

Why buy a
personalised poem? A personalised poem is a truly unique gift. You have thought about the words you want
to say, your hand touches the paper you have written on and is then touched by your recipient. Call it a written cuddle!
However you use your personalised poem, these words will be kept and cherished for many years to come.
What
information do I need to give to get a personalised poem? Simply any details that you would like to include.
The more information you can give, the better and more personal your poem will be. This can be anything from names and dates,
to cherished memories or hopes & expectations. It's your message; Just tell me what you would like to say!
How long does it take to get a personalised poem? I aim to complete all orders within
5 working days. This may be slightly extended in busy periods.
How much does it cost to have
my own personalised poetry written?
I suggest a guide price of £5 ($8) per verse, however
uniquely, the amount you pay is up to you.
From time to time, I also have special offers available for fixed
price poetry. Please contact me for a quote if required. Payment is due on receipt of your personalised poem and
I do ask that you make your payment promptly.
In what format will my personalised poem be delivered?
Your
personalised poetry will be delivered to you via email. For this reason please enter your email address carefully. This
then allows you to display or present your personalised poem in whatever way you see fit; Be it a scroll, or a card, or simply
